While handing out candy on Halloween recently, I took special notice on the abundant number of parents that with knee-jerk reaction told their children, "what do you say?". Without saying anything else, the child would quickly respond with "thank you". Are we handing out "thank you's" out of obligation or internal abundance? Let's get down to the mechanics as I share some strategies for doing so here. By Spencer Combs

If you had to describe gratitude, what would you say it is? Spencer shares some thought on how he defines gratitude in this short video. By Spencer Combs
I was recently asked, "how can I deal with anxiety?" Seems epidemic in today's over-stimulated world for sure and no doubt you may have experienced a moment where you were "gripped" by an outside force and felt all the symptoms of anxiety. To handle it, we need to understand what it is and how it works. By Spencer Combs
"First world Problems" "Be grateful" "There are kids in ______ who don't have what you do!" "Kids these days don't appreciate anything" "My coffee isn't hot enough" "America isn't what it used to be" by Spencer Combs So the question came across Facebook, "Surprised about the elephant logo, was expecting lions?" from Don Coleman. I can understand his question since most interactions with me and our programs are about moving forward and taking action.
I explain here why we chose the elephant and here is the link to more amazing facts about the elephant. Also, if you're not part of our community, be sure to connect with us here. It’s no secret that fear is driving much of society’s behavior in the uncertainty of today. From my point of view I see sickness, stress, desperation, divorce, despondency, and a whole host of other negative environments on the rise. I actually didn’t like doing the research for this article. Being someone that enjoys life, it makes me uncomfortable to unearth and deal with the “dark side” of life. My purpose though doesn’t allow for me to just stand by and see it all happening either. I believe that if we have the means or “talent” to make a difference (which I believe we all do in some capacity), then it is now our responsibility to do so.
